In September 2017 the Cologne sneaker store The Good Will Out partnered with adidas Consortium to deliver a new version of the NMD CS1. The shoe is a contemporary homage to the covert agents of feudal Japan, the Shinobi. Tasked with espionage and assassination, their possessed a legendary technique called „Ankoku Toshi Jutsu“, which allowed them to see in complete darkness. Following the inspirational source of the NMD CS1, we’ve followed the approach of individual customized medial staging to created a holistic product launch including website, movie and branded content.
