Today's (late in the evening!) craft - Maracas. Using plastic spoons, plastic Easter eggs and pear barley, we constructed and decorated our maracas with stickers, pipe cleaners and sharpies. Tommy was so pleased with his colouring in and Ben enjoyed his craft so much he wanted to make more! Only downside... on going up to bed myself, a while after the kids had settled, I kept hearing a strange noise but couldn't work out where it was coming from. Upon investigation, I worked out it was Tommy, laying in bed, shaking them really slowly!!! "Sorry Mummy, it was Daisy *his toy* doing it!" "Yes Tommy! Ok Tommy!"...
