Montalba Architects converts trailer into mobile dentist's surgery. To reduce sound they installed To maximize sound absorption, the team installed acoustic foam inside the walls and ceiling. To increase natural light without the unseemly potential parking lot views, the architects created skylights above patient areas. Maximizing function and beauty in a small space, they used a cut out design in the walls and ceilings. The dental clinic created a paperless "virtual sign in" that includes a receptionist on the iPad in the entry waiting area. The project was co-founded by a former venture capitalist committed to patient centered healthcare.
