I was looking for a free hand tool practise project... and a bookshelf for my school.
I used pallet wood for the frame. A frame legs are at 80 degrees and joined with a half lap joint then held in place by dadoed top rail through the half laps. Horizontal sling rails slide into mortises on the leg, then held with pegged mortises.
