People all over China make ‪#‎dumplings‬ to celebrate the winter solstice, wishing good health and fortune. One widely-spread belief among Chinese is that your ears would freeze and fall in winter unless you eat ear-shaped dumplings on winter solstice. Although obviously a myth, the saying is passed down from generation to generation, adding amusement to the winter cold.
