This mom koala was hit by a car & suffered facial damage & a punctured lung. Her tiny 1 lb. joey clung to his mother during the entire operation. It was performed in Australia Wildlife Hospital founded by Steve Irwin. The mom’s lung was repaired & she is expected to fully recover.
