This is DIY preparation for a jewelry art show. Metaling Susie will be at the Westonka Show on Saturday. Above are some pics showing the materials I used, the help I got and how they will be used. I will definitely take photos at the show to give the complete look with all the elements and jewelry on display.
Here are some leftover wooden fence boards that my hubby cut into the right size displays with shoulder cut outs to hold the necklaces. He also put a big screw in the back to hold up the displays. These pieces cost nothing since all materials were repurposed or on hand! I will be able to put more than one necklace on each holder. I plan to take some push pins in case I need to adjust the necklace length on the display. I love the rustic look of these pieces.
Here are several types of displays for my earrings. The beautiful picture frames I had on hand with really intricate detail and gold tones. I cut window screen to the right size and slide into the frames.
