This dresser has been in the family for over 65 years. It was built to last, but it was time to update it again.
A good sanding of the last paint job, and two layers of primer. I don't usually prime before using chalk paint, but I did wanted to be sure the dark paint would not come through, especially under the modge podge used on the drawers fronts. I wanted to give this dresser a light beachy look. The blue glass-cut knobs wrapped it all together.
