This was so much fun. For our garden club's Festival of Trees event in December, a friend and I made printed paper birds (from Audubon images), collected mosses to dry, flower seed heads, made our own "bird nests," created seed balls with styrofoam balls and real bird seed, dried orange slices, and pulled it all together in a "birds of Vermont" tree. Loads of work, but so much fun!
