Better bind-offs: Fix the unsightly loose last stitch, images from Interweave promotional email ~ 1) Slip last unworked stitch back to right needle; 2) With tip of your left needle, pick up left (back) loop of stitch in row below unworked stitch, inserting needle back to front; 3) Move unworked stitch back to left needle; 4) Knit last stitch and leg of row below together, as if you were doing a k2tog; 5 and 6) This will move the slack of that sloppy last stitch to the back of your work.
