3 Cups water, heated in the microwave for 3 minutes on high.
2 Tbsp baking soda
2 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp dish soap
Aluminum foil
Casserole dish
Line the dish with the foil and lay the jewelry inside.
Mix all of the ingredients together into the hot water and pour the mixture over the jewelry.
Let it sit for 10 minutes so it can work its magic (FYI, the aluminum foil activates with the baking soda and salt, creating a chemical reaction which safely removes the dirt/grime/tarnish from the jewelry).
Rinse off the jewelry and dry gently, yet thoroughly, with a soft towel and voila - your jewelry will be sparkling clean, easy peasy!
* If you only want to clean a couple of pieces you can always use a small cereal bowl or plastic tupperware lined with foil instead, I would just cut the ingredient quantities in half. *
* This worked beautifully on my gold, silver, diamond, gem, and pearl jewelry (both the real and the fake stuff). *
