I made these garden boxes to hang on our aluminum fence, they were super easy and inexpensive. I used a Leonardo window box from Home Depot ($5) and an Everbilt garage rafter hanger ($3). I drilled holes in the bottom of the box, stuck the long padded part of the hook in the bottom running up the back while the metal top part of the hook hangs over the fence. Just add soil, herbs, veggies and watch them grow! Great option to have the height to keep the food from bunnies, dear and squirrels.
